What is Play Care?
Play Care is a place where children engage in fun activities that are age appropriate and designed to help them learn, grow and develop the skills they will need in the journey of life. Every child deserves quality, developmentally appropriate, individualized attention within a healthy, safe, and educational environment!
What makes Friends Play Care so unique?
2000 sq ft. for children to EXPLORE and PLAY! ARTS and crafts, housekeeping area, crawling tubes, puzzles and blocks, READING and quiet time, CLIMBING, riding, sliding, SENSORY table, balls and toys!
Circle time with reading, singing and DANCING!
WALKS to the park and library!
Fun SPANISH lessons and Fun daily vocabulary!
What Ages do we Serve?
We serve ALL children, 1 to 4 years old!
Hours of Operation?
We are open from 7:30am to 5:30pm
We accept FT & PT!
Will Meals and Snacks be Provided?
Yes! In fact, we provide delicious, healthy, mostly ORGANIC meals and snacks that kids love.
What qualifications does our staff have?
Licensed and Insured! The staff at Friends Play Care are selected for their nurturing and loving nature toward children! All staff are required to complete CPR/HIV training, as well as clear a WA State Background and TB test to ensure the safety of the children.
Parent Communication?
When families and caregivers work together the continuity for the child is enhanced! DAILY JOURNALS are provided for parents to know how their child’s Play Care time went. Daily verbal communication with each parent is also a TOP priority.

Friends Playcare is awesome, our 15 month old daughter has been going since Feb and I could not ask for a more loving and nurting enviorment for my child. We went through nannies, an au pair, and 2 daycare centers before we found Friends, I now can relax at work knowing my little one is in great hands. Since attending friends playcare my daughter has learned how to sign, has increased her vocabulary and comes home happy. I absolutely love Friend's Play Care. My son has been there for three months now, and I couldn't ask for a better place to send him while we work. It is such a fun, nuturing, educational environment. When he first started going there, he had MAYBE two dozen words. Now, three months later, he's got well over 200 words, and is signing in conjunction to speaking. We have had our son in a few other in-home care options, and were not happy with any of them. Jodi and her staff are fantastic, and I would recommend Friend's Play Care to anyone.
