Throughout the website and affiliated documents the word ‘Huckleberry’ and ‘Service Provider’ will be used interchangeably.

4. Click on the “Connect” button and you will be connected with the Service Provider. You can either contact the Provider via the telephone or email.
5. When the project is complete, return to the website to review the provider.

Can I get a quote from myhuckleberry?
No. We do not give out quotes. The website is designed to connect you with the Service Provider. If you have specific questions regarding a project, please contact the provider directly using the contact information on their profile.
How much does this service cost?
Listing your services on MyHuckleberry.com is free. Simply create an account and start receiving connections today.
Customers who use Myhuckleberry.com to find qualified Service Providers also do not pay a fee. MyHuckleberry.com is a connection site that allows Service Providers to set their own rates. Both the hourly rates and flat rates are set by the Service Provider. Please contact the Service Provider for specific questions regarding their rates. Many services have a minimum time requirement or minimum project size. For many types of jobs it is simply not economically feasible for Huckleberries to take jobs smaller than this, for scheduling and traveling reasons.
Are Service Providers bonded or insured?
We do not research or verify whether or not Service Providers are properly licensed, bonded or insured. It is your responsibility to determine if they have the proper documents.
Are Service Providers employees of myhuckleberry.com, Inc?
Huckleberries “service providers” are not employees or contractors of myhuckleberry.com, Inc. Just like eBay, Myhuckleberry.com is a neutral marketplace for independent buyers and independent sellers of products and services. myhuckleberry.com, Inc., does not endorse or recommend any of the services or Huckleberries “service providers” who are listed on the site. Make sure you read the Terms of Use before submitting an order.
What happens if a Service Provider fails to contact me or return calls/emails?
You can use the review feature to communicate this to other potential customers and your comments will be displayed on the Service Provider’s profile.
What happens if a Service Provider damages my property during the project? Do I have recourse to claiming damages?
If you suffer damages during the move, you can pursue recourse for such damages against the Service Provider. Myhuckleberry.com, Inc., does not provide a means to arbitrate any disputes.
Q: Am I an employee of MyHuckleberry or am I independent? Does this qualify as a job?
Service Providers are not employees of MyHuckleberry.com, therefore this is not a job. We do not guarantee a certain amount of hours, provide benefits or otherwise act as an employer. MyHuckleberry.com is a neutral location for independent buyers and providers of services. Work is only provided on a demand basis only. You will only receive work when a customer elects to hire you. For more clarification, please read the Service Provider Agreement.
Q: Can I charge a sales tax to the customer?
Yes, depending on your location and your policies. Any taxation or other charges must be declared and reported by you. We do not handle payment or taxes.
Q: How do I get paid?
Payment is arranged between you and the customer. You must communicate to the customer the types of payment you receive.
Q: What about taxes?
Since you are not an employee or a contractor of MyHuckleberry.com, you will not receive a 1099 or any other material documenting your earnings from the Service Provider site. Tax reporting is your sole responsibility.
Ratings and reviews
Q: How are Service Providers rated?
Each time a customer selects to contact you for a job, they are given the ability to review you. The customer is asked to rate Service Providers on 5 different areas: Punctuality, timeliness, quality, value and professionalism. The ratings they provide, along with the ratings from your previous customers are posted on your Service Provider profile page.
Q: Can anyone review and rate a Service Provider?
To provide the best possible results, only customers who have contacted the Service Provider will be able to review and rate a Service Provider. If you feel you have been reviewed by a customer you did not service, please contact MyHuckleberry.com immediately. We will review the case and respond within 5 days.
Q: Will I be able to respond to customer comments on my Service Provider profile?
Yes. A Service Provider is given 20 days to respond to customer comments.
Q: How are my ratings calculated?
Your rate is the average of the total score from your project history.
Q: How are Service Providers ranked in each category.
Customers can choose to order Service Providers by their name, price or rating.
