An integrated circuit is a microelectronic device or component. Interconnection of transistors, resistors, capacitors, inductors and other components and wiring required in a circuit with a certain process is adopted to make a small or several small semiconductor wafer or media substrate, and then encapsulated in a tube shell to form a microstructure with the required circuit functions. All of the components are structurally integrated, making electronic components a big step towards miniaturization, low power consumption, intelligence and high reliability. It is represented in the circuit by the letter "IC". The IC was invented by jack kilby (Ge based IC) and Robert noyce (Si based IC). Most applications in today's semiconductor industry are silicon-based integrated circuits.
It is a new type of semiconductor device developed in the late 1950s and 1960s. It is a semiconductor manufacturing process such as oxidation, lithography, diffusion, epitaxy, steaming aluminum, etc., which integrates all the semiconductor, resistance, capacitance and other components needed to form a circuit with a certain function and the connecting wires between them on a small piece of silicon chip, and then welds and encapsulates the electronic devices in a tube shell. Its packaging shell has round shell type, flat type or double - row insert type and other forms. Integrated circuit technology includes chip manufacturing technology and design technology, which is mainly reflected in the ability of processing equipment, processing technology, packaging testing, mass production and design innovation.

I realize that Xilinx's IC is good. Here https://www.allicdata.com has a comprehensive introduction about it.
