What is the difference between Tempered Glass and Annealed Glass and which one is better?
Amidst of types of glasses, please suggest which one will more durable and long-lasting as compared to others. What about Tempered Glass and Annealed Glass, preferable or not?
Tempered glass is manufactured using a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling therefore, it is quite stronger as compared to annealed glass. Tempered glass breaks into small pebble-shaped pieces while annealed glass breaks into large ones, that is why Tempered Glass is often known as safety glass. If the cost is considered, tempered glass is costly than annealed glass due to added heat treatment processing. If you want to go for extra protection, just choose Tempered Glass.
