General Information

Freehold Theatre is a Seattle acting studio and theatre that provides extraordinary theatre and outstanding classes taught by exceptional faculty. For over 18 years, Freehold has been known as a highly regarded theatre, studio and lab. If you want unrivaled training in a supportive atmosphere, Freehold is the place.

We are privileged to have highly acclaimed artists as faculty including Paul Mullin (2008 Stranger Genius Award for Theatre), Amy Thone (2007 Stranger Genius Award Winner for Theatre), Marya Sea Kaminski (shortlisted for the same award and seen in MY NAME IS RACHEL CORRIE at the SRT), Annette Toutonghi (YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU, Seattle Repertory Theatre), Geof Alm (Stage combat direction - "Twelfth Night" - The Seattle Repertory Theatre), Matt Smith (starting in the movie "Outsourced") and many more. Our class offerings include classes for both the beginner as well as the advanced student.
