Our primary goal is to match the right guests with quality hosts. We ensure that every listing on our platform is real. We do our jobs with passion and enthusiasm. Our founders and the majority of our team experienced housing challenges themselves when they were students. 4stay has many student interns who remind us daily of our core mission: to help students easily find quality housing.
History
Established in 2016.
In 2007 and 2008, founders Akobir and Faridun came to the United States to pursue their education. One of the greatest challenges they faced as students was finding housing. Dorms were full or too expensive, apartment managers wanted to lock in a one-year lease, classified ad web pages weren't secure and off-campus roommate matching was a disaster. Guess what? Hundreds and thousands of students are still going through the same challenges. It was an opportunity for them and they start helping students one by one, doing it the hard way - offline! Since than Akobir & Faridun and of course the hard-working team have helped more than 10,000 students in 7 different states.
4stay recently launched as an online marketplace to help even more students. It has been backed by some of the same Silicon Valley investors who supported Dropbox, PayPal and LendingClub.
