Once you have met the certification requirements, and you have submitted your completed application, you will be required to take the certification exam. The PMP examination is a four-hour computer based training exam that is made up 200 multiple-choice questions. Of these questions, 25 are “pretest” questions that will not count against you on the exam, though they are not identified on the exam as such.
