Stoltzfus Coach Supply, LLC offers a compact - Zero Maintenance Ground Driven 12 Volt DC Carriage Alternator. Our Alternator is compact and mounts directly to a Standared "Amish Style Buggy" Wheel Axle and the product is designed for the application. No wear parts, gears, belts and pulleys etc.. Our Alternator needs to be installed by anyone of our Trained Installers, to assure a quality and professional installation for many years of trouble free operation. Life of our unit is expected to be the same as any electric motor, which in a normal operation, can be a person's liftime.
Our product has been first installed and the field testing started in Jan 2007, we now have over 2 1/2 years of product testing. Our first production order shipment should be here by the second week of July 2009.
Our product is Distributed through (3) three Distributors, Weavertown Coach Shop, LLC in Bird-In-Hand, PA, Wells Springs in Shipshewanna, IN, Shrocks Buggy Works, in Holmes County, OH
Our product is sold through anyone that is a Trained Installer, which could be a carriage maker or a qualified individual. First check with your Local Carriage Maker, and ask them to become a Dealer/Installer if they don't offer our product.
