We use evidence-based best practices in a bio-psych-social approach toward abstinence-oriented recovery.
Biological
Our physicians and nurses are addiction trained and experienced, providing medical assessment in the treatment of addiction. Our SAMHSA best practice Medication Assisted Treatment provides the optimum outcomes for opioid addiction treatment. We encourage lifestyle changes that promote healthy recovery. Our strict safety guidelines include frequent, random drug testing for a twelve drug panel, which also includes adulterants or masking agents. The health and safety of our consumers is a top priority in recovery.
Psychological
We use a stage-wise treatment approach identifying where each consumer is in the stages of change and using motivational interviewing techniques to advance them toward active treatment participation in their own recovery. Our SAMHSA best practice Matrix Model outpatient program involving Individual/Conjoint sessions, Early Recovery Skills Group, Relapse Prevention Group, and Family Education Group.
Social
Family and social interaction and support are crucial aspects of recovery and our treatment approach. This aspect of recovery is woven into the Matrix Model and is an important aspect of our program. We introduce our consumers and their families to 12 Step and other recovery support groups in order to provide social contexts which promote recovery and healthy living.
Abstinence-Oriented Recovery
The goal of our treatment is an abstinence outcome in each consumer. Even in our Medication Assisted Treatment we begin looking at titration after 180 days, a period usually sufficient to acquire some recovery skills and support structure.
