General Information
Instructed by noted, veteran actor Burgess Jenkins of "Remember the Titans" with Denzel Washington, "The Reaping" with Hilary Swank and popular TV show "One Tree Hill", Carolina Actor's Group offers expert training for those who are committed to the field of acting. Our program is ongoing and takes the student from a beginner level to the advanced. Each student moves at his or her own pace and is therefore not forced to move on to another level or technique if they are not ready to do so. The style of training taught at the studio is derived from what is known as "method" acting, and more specifically Meisner method (although not strictly so). Simply, Method is designed to allow the actor to bring the truth of the moment out in their scenework while being fully immersed in the situation. It is a culmination of listening, reacting, and being fully prepared emotionally for the scene at hand. Please visit our website or call the studio if you have further questions:www.carolinaactorsgroup.com336-201-6051
