Dr. Johnson and Dr. Kamodia both attended the University of Michigan for their undergraduate degrees but didn?t have the chance to meet until their first day of dental school in 2011. After four years of hard work (and fun) being roommates and friends they went their separate ways to complete additional training through Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency programs. Dr. Johnson worked in Michigan and Dr. Kamodia worked in upstate New York, for a few years, before they decided to move to Charlotte, NC and start a dental practice together.
Dr. Johnson?s passion is rock climbing (which is why there is a bouldering wall in the kid?s corner of Mint Hill Smiles), and Dr. Kamodia?s passion is cooking (hence the cookbook library in the reception area). They both love to travel, they constantly strive to improve their ability to help patients by taking continuing education courses together, and they can?t wait to see you at Mint Hill Smiles!
