A voluntary nonprofit membership organization, NCNW helps women to improve the quality of life for themselves, their families, and their community. Through its national affiliate organizations and over 240 community-based, collegiate, and youth Sections, NCNW has an outreach to four million women, all contributing to the peaceful solutions of problems of human welfare and rights. The Long Island Cross County Section of the National Council of Negro Women wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.
