Stella 34 Trattoria

With sixth-floor views of the Empire State building and three wood-burning ovens, Stella 34 Trattoria is a modern Italian restaurant and the dining star of Macy's flagship Herald Square store in NYC. Executive Chef Jarett Appell offers Neapolitan pizza from wood-burning ovens with fior di latte mozzarella, Caputo flour imported from Naples, San Marzano tomatoes from the foothills of Mount Vesuvius and water meticulously sourced from local wells to match the pH and mineral balance of the natural spring water in Naples. The menu showcases al forno entrées, house-made pasta, fresh salads, "piccoli piatti" – signature Italian antipasti designed for sharing – and an all-Italian wine list of more than 100 selections. The restaurant also features a Cibi Ronda, an Italian take-away counter, where busy shoppers can pick up fresh salads, authentic paninis, focaccia bread, coffee and Italian treats.
