Rajbhog Foods, a name that dates back to 1981 has quite an interesting history. Here?s a quick rewind of how it got established and became the top brand for Indian sweets across the USA.
Back in 1981, our founders, Ajit Mody & Lata Mody, a visionary Indian couple living in the USA, realized the lack of authentic Indian sweets in the USA. They dreamed of helping fellow desis who missed authentic Indian sweets. They brought their dream to life, by opening a small sweet shop in Jackson Heights, New York. This sweet shop served authentic Indian sweets made in pure ghee and mawa and they were handmade by our founder, Lata Mody. With the love and support of our customers, we extended our sweet shop and added an Indian chaat section, which was a success too.
