The Healing Touch

I began my education at Western Michigan University, majoring in Biomedical Sciences and Pre-Medicine. Though I gained a strong understanding of the theories of allopathic medicine, I deeply felt that the focus on healing should be on the whole person, not the symptoms present. I studied at The Blue Heron Academy for 2 years,obtaining certifications as a Massage Technician and Manual Therapist. I believe in the body's ability to regenerate and renew when given a healthy environment where natural balance can be achieved. Being a lifelong student of the healing arts is important to me. I continue to attend workshops, classes and pursue additional certifications to offer my clients the most comprehensive care available. Currently, I am a Teaching Assistant at The Blue Heron Academy as well as a therapist with New You Face and Body.
