A friend of mine mentioned that it could be a great bonding experience to bring your husband along to the spa. I thought worse at this idea, but decided to try it anyway. Long story short, I did not advise my husband to show up mere minutes after playing basketball, nor did I suggest that he take off his shoes in the presence of everyone. Again, I apologize to the employees that passed out moments later, and the customers who were then engulfed in mud and cucumbers.

I completely understand their M.O., though I could never utilize such a plan. I like to make my day spa experience an entire day’s affair.
