General Information
Zinnia Health Lake Okeechobee is a drug, alcohol, and mental health treatment facility located in Pahokee, Florida. Our center has forty-four beds for detox and residential clients. Our clients receive round-the-clock medical supervision and begin their recovery within a structured and safe environment. All clients are medically assessed upon arrival and receive ongoing care under the medical director, registered nurses and receive psychiatric services as needed. Conditions treated include substance use, alcohol use disorder, and mental health. We provide integrated care for co-occurring disorders and a mental health primary program that treats mood-related disorders, anxiety-related disorders, and severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia. An individual will remain at the treatment facility for the entire recovery program’s entire duration, typically thirty to forty-five days in length. During this time, a person will be monitored and treated for their physical and emotional needs. While everyone’s addiction experience is different, clinical evidence shows that inpatient rehab is one of the most effective types of care for most alcohol and drug addictions. Inpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment at Zinnia Health Lake Okeechobee combines psychiatric and medical care in a residential rehab facility. After completing medical detox, the transition into our inpatient treatment center is critical to a successful recovery. The inpatient drug and alcohol rehab’s supportive environment at Zinnia Health Lake Okeechobee offers clinical and emotional support. It allows a person to continue from detox to the next phase of their sobriety. Some of the essential features of inpatient recovery at Zinnia Health Lake Okeechobee include individual, group, and family therapy, lectures, films, and disease-focused educational opportunities. We recognize the importance of treating the mind and body and offer nutritional services and exercise and fitness activities for a healthy lifestyle. Addiction treatment programs give an individual with a substance use disorder the most significant opportunity to achieve lasting recovery. With both a psychological and physical support system, they can best manage substance use issues and any withdrawal symptoms. Effectively treating a substance use disorder requires a drug and alcohol recovery program that addresses their substance use and any underlying mental illness that may exist. Our facilities provide a beautiful and comfortable setting wherein true healing can begin. Each patient has a dynamic treatment plan designed by their therapists and caseworkers, individualized to meet their needs. They will receive the highest level of care and services during their stay, all founded in evidence-based addiction treatment. A residential rehab facility focuses on the individual from learning how to manage cravings and developing healthy coping skills to managing the risk of relapse. Without the stressors of day-to-day responsibilities at home, such as work or school, a person can transition from rehab to treatment to discovering life as a substance-free recovering person. We accept most out-of-network insurance. For our clients completing treatment, we provide in-depth continuing care and discharge planning services. Zinnia Health Lake Okeechobee is accredited by the Joint Commission and is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families.
