Niantic Awning began as a sailmaker in 1938. Formerly known as Rice?s Sail Loft. Louis Ernst passed the keys to Peter Lundin in 1989 and he in turn passed the keys to Ted Franklin, owner of Pease Awning Co., in May 2015. Pease Awning also started as a sailmaker in 1866. With the knowledge and expanded capabilities Niantic Awning & Pease Awning proudly serve both residential and commercial customers from New Haven to Cape Cod.
