I'm a spouse, parent, stepfather, and grandfather first and foremost. My wife and I have three adult children and eight grandchildren now. We're both active members of our church and have a large number of friends there and elsewhere in town of Southern Colorado. I relocated to Colorado Springs from South Dakota in 1983 and have been here ever since. I grew up on a wheat farm and cattle ranch in West Central South Dakota. I attended University of Nebraska as well as Texas A&M University, where I earned a Master's in Business.
I started my real estate career doing fix and flips 21 years ago which I did full time for four consecutive years. In 2004, I got my license as a real estate agent in Colorado. In January 2005, I decided to work solo in Key West Florida and was able to stand out from 250+ agents in our office. I also started an independent office called Top Realty Group, together with a business partner. We grew it to about 25 agents and then decided to join Century 21. In 2017, I went back to KW and until I learned about eXp Realty in Southern Colorado.
I moved there in January 2019 and have been working as one of the realtors in Denver Colorado. My years of expertise as a Realtor in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area made dealing with buyers and sellers a smooth and enjoyable one.
