I have been looking for a good kickboxing gym in Whittier since I moved here and from Norwalk and finally settled at Valdez Kickboxing in Whittier. It is a great environment to train in and the instructors train everyone from people trying to get in better shape to top level kickboxing and MMA fighters. I have finally got rid of the bad habits I have picked up in other gyms and have taken my training to the next level by live training classes and personal training. I would encourage anyone who is interested in loosing weight or learning a practical martial art to stop by and check this academy out. 
 
I have studied martial arts my entire life and have always thought it would take care of me when I needed it. After spending time at Valdez Kickboxing in Whittier I have realized that the martial arts I have spent so much time studying are near useless in a real life situation. At Valdez Kickboxing in Wittier the martial arts taught are kickboxing and Muay Thai. Muay Thai is without a doubt the most effective martial art you can learn.
