General Information
The Fresno Art Museum offers two brand new classes for students ages 8 - 15 for the summer. We take pride in offering the most relevant and innovative classes for our students to express themselves. They will have a new project to take home each day and most importantly, they will learn how to create artwork that will help them advance in their own lives.

Each class starts with a short history lesson and examples of artists making a living in the art world. It is our goal to educate about art and give students their artistic voices.

Printmaking
July 6 - July 17
Students will make single and multiple colored prints using a wide variety of materials. They will learn about using Styrofoam, block prints, monotype, and will even screen print their designs onto a T-shirt.

Face to Face: Experimental Portraiture
July 20 - July 31
This session will start with students learning the rules of drawing the face and then we will stretch those rules and experiment with the theme of "identity." This is an all-inclusive class that will offer drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and more.

Both classes will be at the Fresno Art Museum
2233 N. First St.
Fresno, Calif. 93703

The museum is located on First St. between Clinton and McKinley, next to Radio Park. Our classroom is well-equipped and our teachers are knowledgeable about the processes that we teach.
