SVO is a Humanitarian, Non-Profit, Non-political and Non-Governmental Organization which is established by devoted and committed group of social scientists for the benefit of the poor, orphans, destitute and other segments of the society who are in need of the support to help themselves on sustainable bases. Hence, SVO is registered under the category of Ethiopian resident charities and societies by Ethiopian Charities and Societies Agency law.
